I’d Like To Know More About Your Family Photo Session. Can You Help Me?

“Paul, you made us feel comfortable and told us that we SHOULD kiss, hug, hold hands, laugh, be playful and be silly with each other! Our pictures are full of personality, love and laughter because you gave us so much help from behind the camera.  Stephanee Roberson,  Narangba

This is Liz and Grossy. Once teenage sweethearts and still madly in love. Fraser Island

Where will we be?
We will meet together on arrival at a beach or park normally but if you have somewhere special in mind we’ll be meeting there.
I’m always keen to get back to Fraser Island. If you are going I might come with you.
Seriously do not rule out asking if I will come to you at a holiday destination that you love and go to often. I have done just that with a family and it turned out fantastic for pics. Check this out!

Tony Druery on Gloucester Island, North Queensland
We can go to a favourite location of yours, or you can come to Sandgate and I’ll show you my favourite places.
How long will it take?
The session usually takes between 45 mins to an hour.
What happens?
We will relax and walk together to location and I will make an attempt to remember everyone’s names. I am a shocker with names and if there are more than four people in your family then I’ll be struggling ha ha.
At our location we will gather together for a quick meeting and I’ll explain to everyone about what we will be doing – connecting as a family -be together -touch -have fun -hold each other -laugh -hug -walk -run -connect -relax -enjoy.
I may ask for volunteers to demonstrate some of these for the reluctant ones.- a big hug for example.
We normally start with the whole family which we will get together in different order and position and we have a bit of fun with this which can make for great pictures.
After this I will take picture of different pairs and small groups within family: Mum and Dad, Mum and all kids, Dad and boys, Mum and one daughter, etc. until everyone has had a picture with everyone else. We try to get as many great pics as we can while we are all together.

I encourage everyone to have fun and be playful with each other
I’ll be ready to capture any fun, great or unexpected moments.
I’ll encourage others to stay near and watch and laugh as the others have their turn in front of the camera.
Towards the end of the session we will do more whole family pics when everyone is more relaxed.
There will be a bit of walking, running, jumping as well for the kids and the young at heart.
It is usually a great afternoon of fun and laughter and everyone feels good when we say goodbye.
